The entirety of last weekend's TECTONICS Festival in collaboration with the BBC Scottish Symphony was recorded by the radio and will be rebroadcast over the next three weekends! So, you'll have a chance to hear these challenging pieces even if you didnt make it to Glasgow. Robert Worby introduces the first of three extended editions from the Tectonics festival in Glasgow, an event curated by conductor Ilan Volkov in association with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. Among the composers featured are the American sound experimentalist Alvin Lucier and Romanian spectralist Iancu Dumitrescu.
